NY bound ... again

Looking forward to get back to NY for a recording session this coming weekend.  I sent an email yesterday to pick my kit for the session and they are flying me out from Nashville.  I'm so looking forward to feeling like I'm a badass to be flying on someone else's dime in order to do a recording session.  I'm really looking forward to doing this with the people I used to play with in my home church of Church of St. Paul the Apostle.  I feel so lucky to be a part of this community and to be invited to be a part of this opportunity.  Plus I'll get to come back into town and see my old friends again.  I'm so looking forward to being a part of this.  To be playing psalms that I helped bring to life when I was playing percussion at this church for about five years.  We went through so much while I was there.  It was such a beautiful experience and I am so grateful to be part of this.
