Back in Nashville after a successful NY trip

I was in New York for the better part of 4 weeks.  Set up some gigs while I was there to make the trip even more worth the hassle of getting there.  While I was there, I had some legal things to handle and realized that the parts of my personality that make me seem like I'm partly Type A are good for me.  In this case, I took my time on something that I shouldn't have and if I had followed the rules according to what was advised, I wouldn't be in this mess.  Well, I'm now in this mess and still having to deal with it.  I'm dealing with government agencies that are all saying they can't do anything about it.  Everyone insists that their hands are tied.  I do not feel that the punishment fits the crime and I will be doing whatever I can to get this fixed.
