Why?

"Why?"  A common question that little kids will ask over and over as they are learning about the world and their curiosity grows.  Stand-up comedians with kids joke about this because of how regular the questioning can be, getting a bit annoying, of course.  I get that.  But isn't this something that we should be asking ourselves more and more as we build-up the busy-ness of the day?  "Why?" is a question that many people forget to ask themselves that could shed light on why we do the things we do.  Keep asking "Why?" until we get to the core of what we are doing and whether it is contributing to us being the best version of ourselves.  What are you doing?  Writing a blog post.  Why?  Because I feel this is a question that people should be asking themselves regularly.  Why (do you fee this way)?  Because I often get hung up on doing things to just be lazy or procrastinate.  Why?  Because I often feel overwhelmed about my ever growing "to-do list".  Why?  Because I have so many ideas of what I want to do in my life and there are many steps to get there.  Why (are you interested in achieving those ideas/goals)?  Because this is how I want to live my life.  I don't want to make the watching of TV my focus on my days but on the music I am making and writing.  Why?  ....and it keeps going.  You get the idea.  Catch yourself several times a day and ask, "Why?"
